Nick Bologna Bio

Nick rejoined Eastward in 2006 after having previously served on the investment team of predecessor firm Applied Telecommunications Technology. Nick’s experience as a senior manager of growing technology-enabled companies provides him with unique insights into evaluating potential opportunities. Having led the marketing and sales efforts for high growth companies, we believe Nick is uniquely qualified to evaluate the strength of a company’s team and products. Nick contributes his operational knowledge along with his significant venture lending experience to evaluate all Eastward deals as well as originating his own opportunities. Nick was the original Vice President of Marketing at Stratus Computer where he helped lead the Company through its successful IPO. He later joined the turnaround team at Sequoia Systems, acting as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Service. Nick has also served as a Senior Advisor at Needham & Company. He began his career at IBM in various sales and marketing roles. Nick is an active supporter of several charities including The Boys and Girls Club of Martha's Vineyard and Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Nick is a graduate of the University of Connecticut
