Douglas Quinn Bio

Douglas has more than 35 years experience as a practitioner, manager and director in the social care sector. He knows Duke Street well having been CEO of Voyage Care (formerly Paragon Healthcare), a successful Duke Street investment that returned 3.3x investors money with a 45% IRR. Douglas was also chairman of the Duke Street portfolio company Baywater Healthcare and represented Duke Street as a NED on the board of Voyage Care until 2022. Currently Douglas is chairman of Outcomes First Group, the UK’s leading provider of specialist services for children; and chairman of Deeside Care Holdings, an operator of premium elderly care services in the UK. Previously he was chairman of leading care home developer Castleoak, and was a founder director and chairman of Your Care Rating, an independent resident satisfaction survey developed in partnership with Ipsos Mori to capture the views of care home residents. Douglas is a graduate of the University of Bath and has an MBA from Dorset Business School.
