Sinead Heaney Bio

Sinead co-founded Development Capital and has over 20 years’ experience working with SME’s across a range of sectors. She has extensive experience from assisting SME’s in both developing and achieving their strategic growth plans. Prior to launching Development Capital I, Sinead was involved in the management and investment of the Davy BES/EII Scheme Funds. She has been involved in investing and managing over €100m in Irish SME’s across various sectors under these Schemes. She remains as a board member of BES Management DAC, the Manager of the Funds. Sinead holds and has held non-executive roles with a number of Development Capitals portfolio companies including Perigord, Netwatch and IP Telecom. Sinead is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a BA in Accountancy & Finance from Dublin City University Business School. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.
