John Desrosier Bio

John Desrosier is the founder and President of Desrosier & Company and has over 25 years of experience in the private equity industry. Desrosier & Company was established in 1992 to invest in smaller middle market companies that could utilize both creative approaches to structuring investments as well as capital for future growth. Mr. Desrosier has been involved in the acquisition of 16 manufacturing, business services and retail companies with a value of $520 million. Prior to founding Desrosier & Company, Mr. Desrosier was Executive Vice President of Dean Witter Capital Corp. (principal investments) and Managing Director and Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Dean Witter Inc. Before joining Dean Witter, Mr. Desrosier was Chief Executive Officer of E.F. Hutton LBO Inc. and Senior Vice President and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at E.F. Hutton & Co. Mr. Desrosier received his MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and BA from the University of Massachusetts.
