Eric Shields Bio

Prior to co-founding Datavest Partners, Eric spent five years in the consumer group at Comvest Partners where he focused on e-commerce and digital marketing. Before joining Comvest Partners, he spent four years at H.I.G. Capital working across the growth buyout and LBO funds. While at H.I.G. Capital, Eric and John worked together for three years and executed several transactions across e-commerce and digital marketing companies. Eric began his finance career as an investment banker at Stephens Inc. He received a B.S. with honors in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida.
