Vinayak Shenvi Bio

Mr. Shenvi is a partner of the Investment Advisor and in December 2022 assumed the role of Chief Investment Officer, prior to which he served as Chief Risk Officer. He is responsible for portfolio construction and driving research excellence. Mr. Shenvi also leads the IT outsourcing industry for the Investment Advisor. Mr. Shenvi is serving and has served on the boards of several portfolio companies of the Investment Advisor - TSI, Veeda and Ummeed. Prior to joining the Investment Advisor in 2016, Mr. Shenvi was a founding partner at Exponentia Capital Partners LLP, which was formed to provide mid-market investment management services. Prior to founding Exponentia Capital Partners LLP in 2011, Mr. Shenvi was a director with CVCI, where he had about 15 years of experience identifying, managing and exiting a large number of portfolio companies across industries including, among others, IT, pharmaceutical, chemicals, banking, financial services, metals, infrastructure, textile intermediaries, power generation and equipment and manufacturing. Prior to CVCI, Mr. Shenvi spent two years as an equity and debt research analyst at a Citi-affiliated brokerage firm, Citicorp Securities & Investments Limited. Mr. Shenvi also served as a board member or an observer on the boards of several CVCI portfolio companies, including JBF Industries, Sharekhan, Unimark Remedies Limited, You Telecom, Anand Rathi Financial Services, Ind Barath Power, Virgo Engineers, Tenet Technologies, Kshema Technologies, Pramati Technologies, Purple Vision Technologies, Servion Global Solutions, Selvel Advertising, Gujarat Glass and Ashima Dyecot, among others. Mr. Shenvi is a Chartered Accountant and has a B.Com. from Mumbai University.
