Gino Schepens Bio

Gino joined Creafund in 2000 and is actively involved as a board member at Diresco. Gino has been previuosly involved as board member at Distrac, Exmore, 2XL, Spekindustrie Vanmaele and Herbafrost. As a commercial engineer (University of Leuven, cum laude), who has completed further studies in tax law (University of Leuven), Gino started his financial career in March 1994 at Artesia Bank N.V. (actually Belfius Bank N.V.) in the credit control department at Kortrijk for the region of East and West Flanders. After a period of internal training, he was soon promoted to the position of Credit Officer (credit analyst) and then Senior Credit Officer from the end of 1998 before moving to Creafund. Gino is also an independent director at Quaestor Vermogensbeheer, a wealth care manager and PPO, a mezzanine provider.
