Sherif leads a team responsible for developing and implementing a strategic and comprehensive information-security program and bringing a security-first mindset into our business processes, and technology and data ecosystems. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Sherif was Managing Director, Global Head of In-Business Control at S&P Global where he built a high-performing team responsible for risk mitigation and control effectiveness across all lines of business, including technology, data, operations and credit-rating analysis. He has also held senior technology leadership roles with GE Capital and Pfizer. Sherif holds a BS-Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
