Prior to becoming a founding member of Coughlin Capital, LLC, Kevin was a practicing attorney in Baker & McKenzie LLP’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group (San Francisco / Palo Alto). As part of his Corporate and Securities practice, Kevin worked extensively in the area of venture capital and private equity representing start-up companies in their formation and offering of private securities, and representing large investment banks and venture capital funds in their review and investment of emerging businesses. Kevin also gained experience representing a variety of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and general corporate governance issues. Kevin is qualified to practice law in California, and is a member of the State Bar of California. Kevin received his B.A., cum laude, from Santa Clara University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
