Michael Najjar Bio

Mike joined Cortec in 2004 and is a Managing Partner. Prior to Cortec, Mike was a Managing Director at Cornerstone Equity Investors where he was actively involved in sourcing, financing, closing, and managing a wide variety of transactions including private company recapitalizations, divisional acquisitions, public-to-private transactions, and build-ups in the manufacturing, distribution, and business services sectors. Prior to Cornerstone, he was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mike currently serves on the Boards of Directors of A1 Garage Door Service, Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning, and Goettl. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of Barcodes Inc., Canadian Hospital Specialties, Groundworks, Rotating Machinery Services, Urnex, Window Nation, and YETI, among other investments. Mike earned a M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.A. degree from Cornell University.
