John Hughes Bio

Mr. Hughes has over 15 years of experience investing in market-leading private companies. He joined Corinthian Capital in 2024, where he is responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of new investments, as well as supporting growth and value creation for existing portfolio companies. Mr. Hughes was previously a Partner with the PE firm Building Industry Partners, where he led investments and successful exits of two building products platforms. Previously, he was a Vice President at Fremont Group, a large family office, and a Vice President at PineBridge Investments, a global asset manager. He began his career as an investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Hughes received a B.S. in Economics with honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
