John Chan Bio

John joined Convergent in 2008 and is responsible for managing the operations out West as well as originating, structuring, closing, and monitoring portfolio investments. Prior to joining Convergent, John held senior corporate finance positions with Pacific Ridge Capital, E*Offering, the investment subsidiary of E*TRADE, and Cruttenden & Company. He has also held operational roles, serving as CFO for a number of retail and high-tech firms. Before entering the field of finance, John was a Senior Consultant for the SBA Small Business Development Center in Philadelphia, PA. He holds a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
