David Hodorowski Bio

David Hodorowski is a tenacious, goal-oriented professional who thrives on delivering value to businesses and nurturing relationships with those around him. With a passion for search funds and business operations, David leverages his eight years of expertise in accounting, finance, and operations to identify and grow businesses while positively impacting the community. Throughout his career, David has gained extensive experience in financial services, public companies, and private startups. Starting as a CPA at KPMG, he quickly earned promotions, ultimately joining the team managing the firm's top client. Here, David led various high-value projects, including potential IPOs, spinoffs, carve-outs, SPAC transactions and system implementations. After six years at KPMG, David joined a specialty vehicle manufacturer, enhancing their financial reporting, internal controls, technical accounting, and financial operations. Involved in the daily operations of multiple business units and divisions, David successfully drove process improvements across multiple locations simultaneously. David's experience also encompasses advisory roles with numerous life science companies. Collaborating closely with management teams and scientists, he provided crucial guidance during the early stages of startups to eventual IPOs and secondary capital raises. Moreover, David offered valuable insights on financial reporting and operational concerns. In 2022, David founded his own CFO outsourcing services company catering to small and medium-sized businesses and individuals. He managed all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, client relations, and project delivery. In 2023, David transitioned primary operational responsibilities to others to pursue acquiring and operating a business alongside his close friend and former colleague, Ethan. Residing in Oconomowoc, WI with his wife Amber and their Black Lab, Enzo, David and his wife share a love for traveling to U.S. National Parks, with ten parks visited and plans to see them all. In his leisure time, David enjoys outdoor pursuits like fishing and hunting, and occasionally participates in tournaments with his father. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Concordia University Wisconsin, where he was also a member of the football team.
