John is a Managing Director and is responsible for managing Comvest’s investor relationships for the Firm’s investment strategies. Prior to joining Comvest, John was a Managing Director with Tennenbaum Capital Partners (TCP). He joined BlackRock (the successor organization) upon the sale of TCP to BlackRock. Before that, he held senior roles at Ares Management as well as at Metropolitan West Asset Management and its successor organization, TCW Group. John began his career in high yield capital markets at Merrill Lynch International. John received an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. in History from Yale University.
