Eric Shields Bio

Eric is a Principal and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments for Comvest’s private equity strategy. Prior to rejoining Comvest, where he first worked as a Senior Associate and then as a Vice President focused on private equity investments in the consumer and services sectors, Eric was a Principal and Co-Founder of Datavest Partners, a private equity firm specializing in control investments in e-commerce and e-commerce enablement companies. Before that, he was a Senior Associate at H.I.G. Capital, where he provided investment support for the growth buyout and flagship buyout funds. Eric started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Stephens Inc. Eric received a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors.
