Peter Horoszko Bio

Peter joined Compass Partners as an Operating Partner in 2014. Prior to joining Compass, Peter was Senior Managing Director, COO and CFO of Stonepeak Partners, a $1.65B North American-based infrastructure private equity fund. Peter’s role included performing financial and operating due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, establishing compensation programs, as well as being a participant of the Investment Committee. Prior to this, Peter spent 34 years Coopers & Lybrand/PricewaterhouseCoopers, the last 24 of which he acted as a transaction services partner, leading commercial, financial, tax, operating and HR due diligence teams on over 500 transactions across a wide variety of industries and geographies. Peter’s transaction experience includes both corporate/strategic transactions and leveraged buyouts for leading private equity sponsors. It also included substantial work with sponsor portfolio companies, including restructuring, profit and working capital reviews, debt refinancing and public equity offerings. Peter is a certified public accountant and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic and State Institution (Virginia Tech).
