Jim Foley Bio

Mr. Foley joined Cold Bore in 2020 as an Operating Partner. Prior to Cold Bore, Mr. Foley spent 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, most recently as a director for the service’s integration of strategy and emerging technology. Prior to that, he served multiple tours flying F/A-18s as a Naval Flight Officer, as an instructor at the Marine Corps’ version of Top Gun, and as Director of Aviation Integration at the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. During deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the western Pacific, he led cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations. Mr. Foley is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame.
