Xavier de Walque Bio

Xavier has an MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He started his career in 1988 as adviser to the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the Budget, before joining Cobepa in 1991 where he led the Belgian Corporate Finance activities. Between 2001 and 2011, he worked for Dexia Group where he held various executive management positions, lastly as Vice Chairman of the Management Board and CFO of Dexia Bank Belgium, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dexia Insurance Belgium. Since May 2011, Xavier is Chief Financial Officer of Cobepa, and is non-executive director of AG Insurance and Cofinimmo.
