Tom Matthijs Bio

Tom is a graduate of the Free University of Brussels (Master in Law), the University of Chicago (LL.M) and the Catholic University of Leuven (Postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance). Tom started his career as a trainee at the Belgian Permanent Mission to the United Nations (New York). From 2010 until 2016, Tom worked as an attorney at Freshfields, both in Brussels and in London, where he specialized in international M&A transactions. Prior to joining Cobepa in 2019, Tom also worked at White & Case Brussels as a local partner in the private equity department.
