Matthew Hibbetts Bio

Matt serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Clovis Point Capital and responsible for all financial management aspects of the firm. Before joining Clovis Point in 2020, Matt was the Chief Financial Officer at Salient Partners, L.P., a Houston asset management firm focused on alternative investments. While at Salient Partners, L.P., Matt led both the corporate finance and fund accounting teams, as well as the firm’s strategic projects. Previously, Matt was the Director of Financial Reporting at The Sterling Group, a Houston middle market private equity firm. Matt began his career in the Investment Management division at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and accounting and Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University. He has previously earned his Series 65. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Matt and his family are active supporters of the Mission of Yahweh.
