Ken Rotman Bio

Ken has more than 25 years of experience as a private equity investor. He joined Clairvest in 1993 and, together with other managing directors, has been the driving force behind the design, implementation and success of Clairvest’s private equity investment business. Ken has been directly involved in investments in the renewable power, waste management and defense contracting industries, amongst others. He is currently on the Board of five portfolio companies: NovaSource Power Services, Top Aces, Accel Entertainment, Air Tindi/Discovery Mining Services and Momentum Solutions. Prior to joining Clairvest, Ken spent just under three years at E. M. Warburg, Pincus & Co., one of the largest merchant banking firms in the United States. He earned a B.A. from Tufts University, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and an M.B.A. from New York University. Ken is a member of the Clairvest board of directors. In the not-for-profit sector, Ken is a board member of HonestReporting Canada and previously sat on the board of the Canadian Opera Company and the University Health Network.
