John Compall Bio

John joined CIVC in 1995. John shares overall strategic and operating responsibility for CIVC in addition to being focused on new investment opportunities and working with portfolio companies. John is currently a director of CATI, Magnate Worldwide and iVision. He was formerly a director of GPRS, Yellowstone Landscape, Peak Utility Services, EN Engineering, PowerTeam Services, and Medical Knowledge Group. Prior to CIVC, John worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company advising companies in the areas of merger integration, improving operational efficiency, and growth strategies, and was a member of the corporate strategy and development group at Ameritech Corporation. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with Honors from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
