Allen has more than 17 years of investment, strategy and operations experience working with both privately held and publicly traded companies. He has worked across multiple industries including food, consumer products, retail, transportation and energy. Prior to joining City Capital, Allen was with Sterling Partners – a Chicago-based growth private equity firm – where he focused on investing in growth consumer/retail businesses. Before Sterling, Allen was with A.T. Kearney, a leading global management consultancy. Allen lives in Chicago with his amazing wife, Amy, and two wonderful daughters. He is an optimistic golfer, passionate college sports fan, avid outdoorsman, and foodie.
