Jeff Brant Bio

Dr. Jeff Brant has served as an Operating Partner to Cimarron Healthcare Capital since 2021. Dr. Brant has over 30 years of international executive veterinary leadership and multi-location veterinary management experience, including recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of LegacyVet and Chief Business Development Officer at Hippo Manager Software Inc. Prior to LegacyVet and Hippo, Dr. Brant co-founded and was an executive leader for many years at Banfield Pet Hospital, the largest veterinary practice in the world and an innovative leader in the veterinary industry. Prior to co-founding Banfield, Dr. Brant owned and operated veterinary clinics in Oregon. Dr. Brant received his Master of Business Administration from Duke University, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Oregon State University. Dr. Brant is married to Dr. Kris Otteman; they have three children.
