Tom Shaw Bio

Tom is a Managing Director and is primarily responsible for evaluating new platform investments as well as supporting existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining CID, Tom was a Partner at Monument MicroCap, a lower middle market focused private equity firm. Prior to Monument, Tom was a Principal at HKW and an Associate at Wynnchurch Capital. Tom began his career as an investment banking analyst in BofA Merrill Lynch’s Global Industrials Group in Chicago. Tom holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is also an avid golfer and IU basketball fan.
