Steve Cobb Bio

In his role as a Senior Partner, Steve leverages his decades of investment experience to support CID’s investment team and portfolio companies. Since joining CID in 2001 Steve has supported the growth and development of the CID Capital team and has an open door for discussions with experienced, thoughtful, high-initiative leaders interested in careers in private equity. In addition to his work supporting the growth of the CID Capital business, Steve uses his broad professional and investment experience on the boards of CID’s portfolio companies. In this role Steve supports both CID’s investment team members and portfolio company management in their efforts to shape the strategies needed to deliver sustained growth. Steve has worked with talented management teams across CID’s multiple funds during the last two decades, and currently participates on the board of Fit + Fresh. Prior to his career in private equity, Steve was a member of the finance organization at Procter & Gamble where he participated alongside a talented multi-functional team driving the growth of the U.S. laundry business. Steve holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA from DePauw University.
