Forrest Burke Bio

Forrest leads the development of a new value based behavioral health business and other healthcare companies in CPF’s portfolio. His extensive experience of more than three decades includes serving the health insurance needs of Fortune 1000 companies via relationships with the largest commercial plan sponsors in the U.S. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, developing deep domain expertise and innovative approaches to health benefits coverage. Forrest served as Chief Executive Officer at United Healthcare in Minnetonka, Minnesota, where he oversaw National Markets, Retiree Solutions and Student Resources, and as Chief Legal Officer, lead legal and regulatory functions. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Dorsey & Whitney, LLP and a Founding Partner of Dorsey Health Strategies, LLP. He also served as a Clerk for the Hon. Jay C. Waldman at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Forrest holds a B.A. from Colgate University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
