Thomas Kelly Bio

Tad is a Managing Partner with CHB Capital Partners. Prior to co-founding CHB, Tad spent ten years as a principal with the investment arms of Bass Brothers, Richard Rainwater and related entities. During that time he made over two dozen private equity investments across a variety of industries and transaction types. Tad graduated magna cum laude with a BS degree, double majoring in Economics and Administrative Sciences with distinction, from Yale University. He received his MBA from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business. Tad is currently a member of the board of directors of Blu Dot Design & Manufacturing, Inc. and Sage Enterprises, Inc. and the board of advisors of McWhinney, Inc. He is also a trustee of the German Marshall Fund and the Denver Foundation, and serves on the Investment Committee of the Rainwater Charitable Foundation.
