David Collier Bio

Along with Charlene and Geoff, David led the formation of CCP in 2019. He has over 20 years' experience as a private equity investor in the US and Europe specializing in complex transactions and strategic growth strategies with middle market companies. Previously, he was Managing Partner of Chart Capital Partners, a private equity firm affiliated with a NY merchant bank. David led the formation of Chart Capital in 2000 and led or co-led every Chart Capital investment from 2000-2018, including notable investments such as Fed Data, Knight Sky, Laney, MTN, NAR, New World and several other companies. During that time, Chart Capital ADG investments generated an average return of over 3.0x invested capital. Prior to Chart Capital, he executed direct investments and fund formation in the US and Europe for Chart Group; was a Senior Consultant for Deloitte & Touche; and a policy analyst for a US government executive agency. He received a BA from Duke University and an MA from George Washington University and maintains a Top Secret government clearance.
