Steven Skaar Bio

Steven joined Centerbridge in 2016 and focuses on real estate investing activities. Prior to joining Centerbridge, Steven was a Senior Vice President at Brookfield Asset Management, Inc. At Brookfield, Steven led the opportunistic real estate investments team in Europe and was involved in a wide range of corporate and asset acquisitions, including the acquisition of Center Parcs UK, Gazeley and the Interhotels Group. Prior to Brookfield, Steven spent 10 years at Citigroup, most recently as a Director at Citi Property Investors, where he focused on European opportunistic real estate investments. Steven serves as the Chairman of the Board of Self Storage Group ASA and as a Member of the Advisory Board of APCOA Parking holdings GmBH.
