Pierpaolo Di Stefano Bio

Pierpaolo Di Stefano joined Cdp in March 2019 as Chief Investment Officer. He was subsequently appointed CEO of Cdp Equity, board member of FSI SGR, B.F. S.p.A. and the Executive Board of AIFI (Italian association of Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt). Pierpaolo has spent over 25 years in Investment Banking. Prior to joining Cdp, he was Co-Head of Italy Corporate and Investment Banking at Citi and he run the Italian Investment Banking team at Nomura and UBS, which he joined in 2005 as Managing Director of the European M&A team. From 1997 to 2005, Pierpaolo worked at Merrill Lynch International and previously, at Lazard. Pierpaolo graduated with honors at the Bocconi University, Milan.
