Blake Cummings Bio

Blake is a Partner at Caymus Equity and, together with other Partners, manages all aspects of the firm’s activities. A member of the Investment Committee, Blake’s primary responsibilities include oversight of firm strategy, financial reporting, and investor relations, as well as new investment sourcing, evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of the firm’s portfolio companies. Blake has spent 10 years at Caymus Equity, and has 13 years of private equity investing, investment banking, and corporate development experience focused on the lower-middle-market. Blake has been integral in the management of 13 of Caymus Equity’s active and realized portfolio companies, including holding board positions at eight of the firm’s platform investments. Prior experience includes an M&A role at a Bain Capital portfolio company and investment banking at Founders Advisors. Blake is a member of the Southern 7 Chapter of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
