Jing Zhao Bio

Jing is Partner of the Cathay Smart Energy Fund, based in Shanghai, with over a decade of experience in the energy investment sectors. Prior to joining Cathay in 2019, Jing worked for TotalEnergies in France for nearly 10 years, holding several positions including Principal for Total Ventures Asia investment platform, gas and CO2 R&D project manager, along with other roles related to natural gas processing. Previously, Jing also spent 3 years as a research engineer for specialty chemicals and advanced materials company Arkema. He holds an engineer and Ph.D degree in chemical engineering from ENSIC in France.
