Robby Berner Bio

Robby Berner is an Investment Partner at Catchment Capital and began investing in industrial companies over a decade ago. Prior to joining the firm, he was a principal with Tailwind Capital, where he spent over 6 years on the industrials team. In that role, Robby was responsible for originating industrial technology and industrial services opportunities and monitoring portfolio company value creation initiatives. Prior to Tailwind, Robby was an associate at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice where he focused on investments in the industrials, services and consumer sectors. Robby started his career in the investment banking division of Barclays. Robby volunteers for Squash Haven and CitySquash, two inner-city youth programs that combine tutoring, mentorship, and college preparation with squash. Robby received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Political Science from Yale University where he played on the varsity lacrosse and squash teams.
