Michael Thaden Bio

Michael T. Thaden joined Castle Creek® in 2015. He works with the board of directors of Golden State Bancorp (OTCPK:GSBX). Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group. At Sandler, he focused on community bank advisory including mergers and acquisitions, capital planning, and capital markets transactions, completing transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $1 billion. Mr. Thaden holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
