Deborah Sykes Bio

Deborah Sykes is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer and joined the firm in 2021. She has primary oversight of the firm’s financial management, including tax, finance, back-office operations, and management company financial operations. In addition, she oversees the various Compliance programs and the related vendors. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sykes worked in the alternative investment industry overseeing the preparation of fund accounting, investor allocations, fee calculations, and audit drafts for hedge funds and private equity funds. Her work included an emphasis on training staff, streamlining processing, and designing automated tools. As part of her efforts, she is a founding member of Hedge Pro Solutions, a software solution for the fund administration industry. Prior to joining the alternative investment industry, she was a consultant developing database solutions at Beaird Group and was a Controller for Peterson Consulting (since acquired by Navigant). Ms. Sykes is a registered CPA (Illinois), member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
