Alan Welch Jr Bio

Al Welch joined Carousel Capital in 2008. Prior to joining Carousel, Mr. Welch worked in private equity at Arcapita and for the investment banking division of BB&T Capital Markets. Mr. Welch’s board and portfolio company responsibilities include Reliance Partners, Legacy Data Access, Landscape Workshop, Armstrong Transport Group, ProcessBarron, and Pegasus TransTech (Transflo). Mr. Welch's prior portfolio company responsibilities include AGDATA, Caldwell & Gregory, Copac, Hepaco, Pye Barker Fire & Safety, and Advantage Software. Mr. Welch received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
