Tomas Ackerman Bio

Mr. Ackerman is a Co-Founder and Partner of Carnelian Energy Capital Management, L.P., where he oversees Carnelian’s efforts in sourcing investments, transaction negotiation and execution, monitoring of active portfolio companies and firm management and strategy. Prior to founding Carnelian, Mr. Ackerman was a Managing Director and Head of the Houston office of Natural Gas Partners. Mr. Ackerman grew up in Houston, Texas, and received a B.B.A. in Finance with highest honors from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
