Javier Meireles Bio

Javier Meireles is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Carlyle Aviation Partners. Mr. Meireles joined Carlyle Aviation Partners (formerly Apollo Aviation Group) in 2010 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he was an Audit Manager. Mr. Meireles worked with PwC for seven years and his industry focus was public registrants, particularly in the transportation and logistics industry. Mr. Meireles played an integral role in supporting his clients with public debt offerings, SEC comment letters and technical accounting matters. Mr. Meireles has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Masters of Accountancy from Florida International University. Mr. Meireles is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and a member of the FICPA and AICPA.
