Aisling Scully Bio

Since joining Cardinal as COO in 2013, Aisling has coordinated the structuring and establishment of all Cardinal managed funds, designed and implemented governance and operational frameworks and overseen risk and compliance processes. Aisling was instrumental in securing AIFM authorisation for Cardinal from the Central Bank of Ireland and currently holds a number of PCF approvals. Aisling is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland with over thirty years’ experience in financial services and has held numerous roles at senior executive and board level across banking, capital markets and fund management sectors. Aisling uses her considerable experience as a member of Cardinal investment committees for both Private Equity and Real Estate Finance funds and in overseeing finance and operational aspects of the funds under management.
