Nick Chen Bio

Nick Chen is a Partner of Capital Group Private Markets with primary responsibility for Asia, focusing on China. Prior to joining the Private Markets team in 2005, Nick worked at JPMorgan in investment banking roles in New York and Hong Kong, latterly as a vice president of the Asia Pacific mergers & acquisitions group. While at JPMorgan, he advised multinational and regional corporate clients on cross-border mergers & acquisitions transactions, most of which are China- related. He also had experience in equity and debt capital market financing. Before joining JPMorgan, he worked at Towers Watson in the U.S. as a management consultant. Nick received his BA (summa cum laude) in economics from Franklin and Marshall College.
