Andrew Bernstein Bio

Andrew is a Senior Managing Director, Head of Private Equity and member of both the Private Equity Investment Committee and Private Credit Investment Committee as well as the Executive Committee. Andrew is Co-Head of our Responsible Investment Committee – Truly Invested® in our Communities (“CSC”) and also a senior member of the Co-Investment team serving on the board of directors of multiple portfolio companies. He has over 25 years of experience in private equity and investment management. Prior to joining Capital Dynamics, Andrew worked in mezzanine debt as a vice president at TCW/Crescent Mezzanine and as a director at Canterbury Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, he worked for multiple groups within the Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Binghamton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
