Stephan Lobmeyr Bio

Stephan Lobmeyr is a co-founder of capital D and has a range of experience in private equity, consulting and entrepreneurship. As a former partner at Change Capital Partners he successfully invested for 12 years in mid-market retail and consumer good companies across Europe. Previously he served as a director of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst where he was part of the team that established the firm’s European operations and invested its €1.5bn Europe Fund. Whilst at Hicks Muse, he led a number of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), financings, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Stephan spent six years as a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group including a role as manager in their Paris and Buenos Aires offices. His earlier career also includes co-founding two start-ups. He earned an M.B.A from IESE, Barcelona and an undergraduate commerce degree from Wirtschaftsuniversität, Vienna.
