Renaud Tartanson founded Calcium Capital after 15 years of corporate consulting as an investment banker. Prior to this experience, Renaud was a Managing Director at the investment bank Goldman Sachs, where he worked in London and Paris for 11 years. He has been involved in numerous mergers and acquisitions, financing, and restructuring transactions. A generalist, he has had the opportunity to advise companies of various sizes in numerous sectors on their strategic operations. In 2001-2002, he was seconded to iFormation Group, a subsidiary of the Boston Consulting Group, General Atlantic Partners, and Goldman Sachs, formed to invest in new business models in partnership with major groups. From 2005 to 2009, he also led the development of the bank's activity in the real estate sector and related sectors (hotels, restaurants, clinics, retirement homes, distribution) in France and Southern Europe. Renaud began his career as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Crédit Commercial de France (now HSBC) in Paris. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique, ENSAE, and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris ("Sciences Po").
