Paul Barry Bio

Paul Barry joined Calcium Capital in February 2023, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the team, the majority of which he spent as an investor after initially working as an investment banker. Paul previously spent 7 years at Intermediate Capital Group (“ICG”) in Paris where he was Managing Director, in the large cap business and then as Head of the mid-cap business for France , with a generalist positioning, for minority and majority investments. Before ICG, he was Investment Director at Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity, where he worked for nearly 5 years on majority investment transactions in the lower mid-cap segment in France. Previously, Paul worked at Goldman Sachs in London in mergers & acquisitions and then in acquisition finance in Europe. Paul began his career in 1999 at Paribas Affaires Industrielles. He is a graduate of HEC.
