Jake Blumenthal Bio

Prior to founding Cache Creek in 2015, Jake spent over 15 years investing in the middle market across many industries. He has been involved in over two dozen transactions ranging in size from $1 million to $275+ million. Most recently, he was a Partner at Vance Street Capital where he worked for eight years. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2007, he worked in New York City at Charterhouse Group, a middle market private equity firm and DB Capital, the principal investing arm of Deutsche Bank. He started his career BT Alex. Brown, the investment banking group at Bankers Trust which was later acquired by Deutsche Bank. Jake received a BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University (Cum Laude). He serves on the Board of Directors of Mountain Secure Systems and is a Trustee at The Laurence School.
