Scott Novak is Global Head of Communications. He oversees all internal, external, corporate, and financial communications and marketing for the company and has strategic oversight of communications for its portfolio companies worldwide. Prior to joining the company in 2017, Novak was a senior member of the Time Inc. communications team for eight years where he last served as Senior Vice President, Communications and Brand Development. He worked directly with the C.E.O. and senior leadership on a broad range of communications strategies and initiatives, including M&A, investor and employee relations, industry presentations, international expansion, and new growth initiatives. He also had direct oversight of a consortium of best-in-class multi-media properties that collectively reached over 100 million consumers. Before Time Inc. Novak spent eight years (1998-2007) with D.K.C., Public Relations, Marketing, and Government Affairs. There, he rose from Account Executive and to Senior Vice President/Co-Executive in charge of D.K.C.s Corporate/Media/Sports Division. Novak specialized in representing blue-chip Fortune 500 companies, media brands, entrepreneurs, and change agents, and under his leadership, the unit became the company’s most profitable. Novak began his career as Assistant Sports Information Director for Rutgers University. He is a Seton Hall University graduate with a degree in communications from the School of Arts and Sciences.
