Andrew Les Bio

Andrew Les is a Vice President responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies. He conducts detailed financial analyses, liaisons with third-party advisors and financing sources, aids in structuring and negotiating transaction terms, and assists portfolio company management with financial and strategic initiatives. Before joining Bruin in 2017, Les was an Associate at Providence Equity Partners, a global private equity firm, where he focused on growth and leveraged buyout investments in media, sports, and technology-enabled services industries. At Providence, Les worked across all major investment functions, including origination, valuation, execution, financing, and portfolio company development. During his time at Providence, Les evaluated over forty platform investments and portfolio tuck-in acquisitions. He also provided strategic support to Learfield Sports, the leading provider of integrated marketing solutions in college sports, which included evaluating and executing tuck-in acquisitions, assisting in strategic initiatives, and assessing capital structure alternatives. He also assisted in Providence’s sale of Learfield to Atairos in 2016. Before Providence, Les was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he advised financial technology and asset management clients within the Financial Institutions Group on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives, equity and debt financings, and risk management transactions. Les received a B.S. in Finance and Economics from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
