Kumar Shah is Managing Director in Brookfield’s Private Equity Group. In this role, he is responsible for investment origination, analysis and execution. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Shah was a managing director and founder of a growth-stage investment firm and built the investment programs for growth-stage enterprise and consumer technology investments at Transit Capital, Micromax and GEF Capital. Mr. Shah holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai.
