Alastair joined Bridgepoint in 1984 and is a Senior Partner, having previously been Deputy Managing Partner and a member of the Operating Committee, responsible for business development. He has over thirty-five years of private equity experience in Europe, the USA and Asia and currently sits on the boards of PEI and Elgin. His earlier roles at Bridgepoint included leadership of the UK and German businesses as well as a two year secondment to a US based venture capital firm. Prior to joining Bridgepoint, he was at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Alastair is a Chartered Accountant and has degrees in Accountancy, Law & Economics from Cardiff University, and Creative Writing & Theatre Studies from Roehampton University. He is a member of the governing Council of Cardiff University and chairs its Policy and Resources Committee.
